Darroch: Sky 3D is for big events

Sky chief executive Jeremy Darroch has admitted that 3D growth may not come at the pace that the satcaster has enjoyed with its HD services. Darroch told an investor meeting that 3D is likely to be more “big event TV”, particularly for sports, though the format works better with some events than others.
