Digital Germany: slow growth continues

According to the latest Digitaliserungsbericht, 55% of German TV households had at least one digital receiver as of the middle of this year. The rate of digitisation was meanwhile 8.3% up on 2008 and slightly more than in previous years. During the last year, some 3.2 million people bought a digital receiver, combining set-top boxes and integrated TV sets.
