PVR usage leads to more TV consumption

To what extent are PVRs threatening broadcast TV advertising? For the moment, no one knows, but broadcasters that are primarily reliant on the income from commercials are increasingly worried PVRs are – in addition to the proliferation of digital thematic channels – a serious threat to their business.
