The success of the Sky HD platform is against the background of a confused strategy amongst its competitors. In the past few weeks, Sky has announced the launch of seven new HD channels this October, bringing the total number of available services on the platform to 26. What is more, it has promised to bring the total number of HD channels available to 30 before the end of the year.
