Sky holds onto £10 HD fee

Sky CEO Jeremy Darroch has said the broadcaster has no intention of removing the £10 (€12.7) fee paid by HD subscribers to gain access to the channels within its HD Mix. Unlike Scandinavia’s Canal Digital and the Belgian IPTV network Belgacom, Sky is easing the burden on new subscribers by reducing the costs of the hardware.
