Microsoft ready for Presentation Framework

Operators working with the Microsoft Presentation Framework are expected to have the first applications ready as soon as next spring. This follows the May beta release of the software that is designed to allow operators to offer their own IPTV-based services applications either directly or through third parties.
Stephen Pethera , Microsoft Mediaroom, senior media services manager – EMEA & APac, told New Television Insider that the first deployments using the Framework are likely to take place between Q1 and Q2 next year.
