Last week, two interesting news items caught my eye. Number one: the German mobile TV operator Mobile 3.0 is set to abandon the market for mobile television even before it has began full operations. Number two: US consumers are wary of the new Blu-ray disks. The two items seem to indicate that in these uncertain economic times, consumers are not willing to buy just any new technical development just because it is technically possible.
